How the Journey Works

Irish Concert Travel provides a same-day return coach service for Kneecap’s landmark performances at Dublin’s 3Arena on 16th & 17th December 2025. This service is designed to get you to the gig and back home comfortably — without the hassle of booking a hotel, braving Dublin’s traffic, or relying on last-train timetables.

Coaches will depart from key regional hubs across the country. Typical pickup locations include:

  • West – Galway, Claremorris
  • North-West – Sligo
  • Midlands – Athlone, Mullingar, Longford

Each driver is briefed specifically on 3Arena’s event-day logistics, including designated drop zones and post-show traffic flow. We aim to have all passengers arriving before doors open, with ample time to grab merchandise, meet friends, and settle in.

After the show: Your return coach will depart from the same location where you were dropped off. The bus departs 30 minutes  after the final encore — meaning you don’t have to skip the last song or worry about missing your ride.

Helpful Travel Tips:

• Arrive at your chosen pickup location at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled time
• Bring a copy or screenshot of your booking confirmation to show the driver
• Alcohol is not permitted onboard our services
• Hot Food and Hot Drinks are not permitted onboard our services
• To locate the Coach after the concert ends we recommend passengers send themselves their current whatsapp location when exiting the bus and to take the drivers number

Our services operate along the most direct routes to the concerts and we have limited the number of collection/drop off points, with the aim of reducing the travel times to and from your favourite events

Irish Concert Travel reserves the right to adjust travel routes as necessary to optimise efficiency and scheduling

Get your gig gear ready, book your coach seat, and join hundreds of fans travelling from all over Ireland to see one of the most talked-about acts in Irish music make their mark on Dublin’s biggest stage.

About Kneecap

Kneecap exploded onto the Irish music scene with a sound as unorthodox as their rise — fusing Irish-language lyrics, Belfast wit, and gritty hip-hop beats. Made up of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí, the trio are as much political provocateurs as they are musicians. What began as a viral underground project quickly evolved into a cultural phenomenon, putting bilingual rap into the mainstream and reigniting conversation around identity, youth, and resistance in Ireland.

The group made headlines with tracks like “C.E.A.R.T.A.”, which samples a 1970s Irish civil rights broadcast, and “Get Your Brits Out”, a politically charged anthem layered with humour and historical subtext. Their music is fiercely local and defiantly global — drawing crowds across Europe, selling out major venues, and sparking debate in parliament chambers and radio stations alike.

Kneecap’s shows are part protest, part party — known for on-stage mayhem, surreal visuals, live graffiti, crowd surfing, and relentless energy. Their message may be fierce, but the delivery is full of joy, satire, and creativity. Their upcoming self-titled feature film, premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2024, is further cementing their reputation as multi-platform artists with an uncompromising voice.

Their two-night run at 3Arena is a milestone: the largest Irish-language act ever to headline the venue, bringing a radical edge to Dublin’s docklands. Expect a high-octane mix of old anthems, unreleased bangers, stage visuals, and guests from Ireland’s underground hip-hop and spoken word scenes.

Trivia You Might Not Know:

  • Kneecap’s name is a reference to paramilitary punishment, used ironically to provoke political discussion
  • The trio’s lyrics often switch between English and Gaeilge mid-verse — a style called code-switching
  • Their debut feature film, starring Michael Fassbender, received a 10-minute standing ovation at Sundance
  • They once had a mural of themselves censored by Belfast City Council — only for it to be re-painted with even more attention
