CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson) has carved a path through the Irish and international music scenes with her larger-than-life stage presence, 1970s influences, and fearless approach to pop storytelling. She’s performed across Europe, toured with her own cowboy boots blazing, and earned her place as a cultural force — balancing absurdism with brutal honesty. Her live shows are full of sing-alongs, laughter, heartbreak, and glittering fringe — and the 3Arena set promises to be her most spectacular production yet.

Whether you’re travelling solo, with pals, or turning the night into a big social event, Irish Concert Travel takes care of the logistics. Our same-day return coach service ensures you arrive before doors open and return safely home the same night. No booking taxis. No hoping the bus runs on time. Just get on board, enjoy the gig, and let us take care of the rest.

Bus to CMAT at 3Arena tickets are available now, but space is limited and demand is high. Don’t be left behind when the disco ball drops — book your coach seat early and make this concert one to remember.

About CMAT

CMAT — the moniker of Dublin-born artist Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson — has taken the Irish and global music scenes by storm with her unique blend of country-pop, confessional songwriting, and outrageous humour. Described by critics as “Dolly Parton meets Father Ted,” CMAT is an artist unlike any other — merging theatricality, vulnerability, and cultural commentary into catchy, genre-bending anthems that stick with you long after the glitter settles.

Her debut album, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead (2022), debuted at No.1 on the Irish Albums Chart and was met with near-universal acclaim. Songs like “I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!”, “No More Virgos”, and “Every Bottle (Is My Boyfriend)” introduced fans to her world of heartbreak, surrealism, and sharp-edged self-awareness. The follow-up, Crazymad, For Me (2023), built on that momentum with even bigger pop production and emotionally raw songwriting — solidifying CMAT as both a cult icon and a commercial force.

What sets CMAT apart is her refusal to play it safe. Whether she’s lamenting over exes, critiquing gender roles, or singing about ABBA and existential dread, her work is at once hilarious, poignant, and deeply relatable. She draws on a diverse range of influences — including Tammy Wynette, Kate Bush, Charli XCX, and Meat Loaf — and blends them into a sound that feels at once nostalgic and forward-thinking.

CMAT’s rise hasn’t just been musical — it’s cultural. She has developed a strong connection with LGBTQ+ audiences, millennials, and anyone who has felt too much, too often, too loudly. Her live shows are part pop concert, part comedy hour, part group therapy — with disco lights, spoken word monologues, cowboy hats, and big emotional crescendos. And at the centre of it all is her unmistakable voice, soaring above the chaos.

The 3Arena headline show on 5th December 2025 marks a huge milestone in her journey. From singing in shopping centres to selling out major venues across the UK and Europe, CMAT has become one of Ireland’s most important new voices — honest, brash, and brilliant.

Fun CMAT Trivia:

  • She once said her dream duet would be with Willie Nelson or Paris Hilton — depending on her mood.
  • CMAT studied philosophy before pursuing music full-time.
  • Her stage outfits often feature cowboy boots, rhinestones, and references to Irish Catholicism.
  • She cites Alanis Morissette and Dido as childhood influences.
  • Her fanbase is called the “CMATsive” — a play on “massive” and “collective emotional breakdown.”
