Bad Omens rose to prominence with their emotionally charged and genre-blending hit “Just Pretend,” a track that catapulted them into the mainstream rock and alternative charts in 2022. Initially emerging from Richmond, Virginia, the band was formed in 2015 by vocalist Noah Sebastian, guitarist Joakim “Jolly” Karlsson, bassist Nicholas Ruffilo, and drummer Nick Folio. Their self-titled debut album dropped in 2016 and was well-received among metalcore fans, but it was their 2022 album The Death of Peace of Mind that solidified their place in the modern rock pantheon. Known for blending post-hardcore, synthwave, and alternative metal elements, Bad Omens has developed a cinematic, atmospheric sound that balances brutal intensity with haunting vulnerability. Their visuals are as layered as their music, often featuring monochromatic, dystopian imagery that mirrors their lyrical themes of inner conflict, emotional fragility, and existential angst. Their concert at Dublin’s 3Arena is part of their ongoing international touring cycle and is set to be their only Irish date in 2025. Fans can expect a powerfully produced show, complete with synchronized lighting, LED walls, and a tight, theatrical stage presence. Bad Omens are known for bringing a meticulously crafted aesthetic to their live sets — a sonic and visual narrative that unfolds throughout the night. If previous tours are anything to go by, expect everything from slow, melancholic buildups to breakdowns that shake the floor. Their setlist will likely include tracks like “Concrete Jungle,” “Like a Villain,” and “Limits,” alongside older material from their 2016 debut. Lead singer Noah Sebastian is renowned for his commanding stage presence, moving effortlessly between guttural growls and soaring clean vocals — a vocal range that has earned comparisons to both Corey Taylor and Oliver Sykes. For many Irish fans, this show is a long-awaited chance to see the band in full force, having previously only played in smaller UK venues and festival slots.Trivia You Might Not Know:
