Amble’s music draws on Irish tradition, modern folk, and rich storytelling. Songs like “Seasons”, “Seven Hours”, and “Letters From Home” have resonated with audiences far beyond the usual folk niche — and their rise has been nothing short of extraordinary. Built around vocal harmony, gentle instrumentation, and sincere lyrical themes, Amble’s live performances are intimate, communal, and powerful. They’ve earned comparisons to Simon & Garfunkel and Villagers — but their sound is distinctly their own, and proudly Irish.

Fans are travelling from all corners to see this milestone concert, and our dedicated coach service is designed to make that journey seamless. About Amble

Amble is a rapidly emerging Irish acoustic-folk trio known for their powerful vocal harmonies, reflective songwriting, and emotionally rich live performances. Formed in late 2022, the group consists of lifelong friends from rural Ireland who came together over a shared passion for modern folk, Irish balladry, and honest storytelling. With a name that reflects their calm, unhurried musical pace, Amble have quickly become one of the most talked-about acts in Ireland’s contemporary acoustic scene.

The band gained traction through organic growth, busking, and a series of viral acoustic videos posted on TikTok and Instagram. Their stripped-down performances — usually featuring nothing more than vocals, an acoustic guitar, and ambient Irish scenery — began pulling in hundreds of thousands of views. The trio’s harmonies and sincerity connected instantly with audiences seeking something deeper, more grounded, and undeniably Irish.

By early 2024, Amble had sold out multiple nights at Whelan’s in Dublin and received major press attention from Hot Press and The Irish Times. Their original songs “Seasons”, “All I’m Missing”, and “Seven Hours” explore themes of memory, loss, identity, and personal reflection — always delivered with a rawness that feels both timeless and contemporary. Their acoustic aesthetic draws inspiration from Irish traditional music, indie-folk, and artists like Villagers, Bon Iver, and Paul Simon.

Amble’s success has continued to build through independent releases and consistent live appearances. Despite not yet having a full-length album, the band’s early singles have amassed impressive streaming numbers and helped build a devoted following both at home and abroad. They have become favourites at folk festivals, college gigs, and cultural showcases, and their journey from local sessions to the 3Arena stage is a reflection of their deep connection with Irish audiences.

The 3Arena show on 4th, 11th and 12th December 2025 marks a major career milestone — their largest headline gig to date, and a symbolic moment for the new wave of Irish acoustic-folk. It’s more than just a concert; it’s a celebration of how music built around simplicity, emotion, and truth can still rise to great heights in the digital age.

Trivia You Might Not Know:

  • The group originally met at a small music session in Clare in 2018 and kept in touch while attending different colleges.
  • Amble often records their demos in cottage settings using just one microphone.
  • They cite Glen Hansard, Lisa Hannigan, and Christy Moore as core influences.
  • Their acoustic session for “Seasons” was filmed in one take on the Cliffs of Moher.
  • Despite their growing fame, the trio have no management — they handle bookings and promotion themselves.
