About Motionless in White

Motionless in White have carved a unique place in the world of metalcore by fusing heavy riffs, gothic imagery, and theatrical performance into one unmistakable identity. Formed in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2005, the band exploded onto the scene with a blend of industrial and horror-inspired visuals alongside punishing metal breakdowns and melodic anthems.

Led by frontman Chris Motionless, the group gained a loyal underground following with early releases like “Creatures” (2010) and “Infamous” (2012). Over time, their sound evolved to incorporate elements of industrial metal, alternative rock, and nu-metal, drawing comparisons to bands like Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, and Bleeding Through. Despite the evolution, they’ve never lost their hard-edged core — a fact that continues to earn them devoted fans across the globe.

Their most recent albums, “Disguise” (2019) and “Scoring the End of the World” (2022), showcase their refined songwriting and powerful lyrical themes. Songs like “Masterpiece,” “Cyberhex,” and “Slaughterhouse” display their balance of emotional depth and sonic brutality. In 2022, the band collaborated with artists like Mick Gordon (known for his work on the DOOM video game soundtrack), Bryan Garris (Knocked Loose), and Caleb Shomo (Beartooth), adding layers to their already dense sonic world.

The upcoming show at Dublin’s 3Arena on 10th February 2026 marks one of their biggest ever headline performances in Ireland. Known for stunning stage visuals, gothic props, and intense crowd engagement, Motionless in White’s concerts are more than music — they’re immersive, high-energy spectacles. Expect a set packed with fan-favourites and new material, all delivered with theatrical precision and crushing heaviness.
