This Christmas season, Picture This returns home in spectacular fashion with not one, but two major headline shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on 29th and 30th December 2025. Back by overwhelming demand, their Home for Christmas concerts have become a beloved holiday tradition — and 2025 is shaping up to be their most immersive experience yet. What sets these Christmas shows apart is their full-scale visual production: the band transforms 3Arena into a fully Irish setting, complete with an on-stage pub, garden, and car park, offering a true-to-life tribute to small-town Ireland and shared moments that define the holidays.

Our same-day return bus to Picture This at 3Arena is the most comfortable, affordable, and hassle-free way to get to the heart of Dublin — and back — all in one unforgettable night.

Our nationwide coach service picks up from regional hubs across Ireland, connecting fans from the West, the Midlands, the South, and beyond. Each coach runs a route to Dublin 1, with drop-off zones located just short walking distance from the main arena entrance on North Wall Quay. Whether you’re travelling with friends or heading solo, we’ll get you to the venue in good time to soak up the atmosphere, explore the merch stands, and get settled before the band hits the stage.

Helpful travel tips:

  • Arrive at your chosen pickup location at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled time
  • Bring a copy or screenshot of your booking confirmation to show the driver
  • Alcohol is not permitted onboard our services
  • Hot Food and Hot Drinks are not permitted onboard our services
  • To locate the Coach after the concert ends we recommend passengers send themselves their current whatsapp location when exiting the bus and to take the drivers number

Our services operate along the most direct routes to the concerts, and we have limited the number of collection/drop off points, with the aim of reducing the travel times to and from your favourite events.

Irish Concert Travel reserves the right to adjust travel routes as necessary to optimise efficiency and scheduling.

The 3Arena can get hectic on big show nights — especially during the holidays — so taking a coach removes the stress of finding parking or navigating public transport. Taxis are scarce after arena events, and hotel prices in Dublin over Christmas are often sky-high. Our service ensures you won’t be stuck waiting in the cold or scrambling for a ride home — your seat on the return trip is guaranteed.

Depending on where you’re travelling from, certain longer-distance routes may include a comfort break on the way. All of our drivers are experienced in managing traffic around Dublin Port and 3Arena, so you’ll arrive well before doors open and depart quickly after the final encore.

Whether you’re catching the Monday show on 29 December or the Tuesday finale on 30 December — or both! — Irish Concert Travel will get you there and back in comfort. Enjoy Picture This performing their biggest hits in a one-of-a-kind festive setting, without worrying about how you’ll get home afterwards. Book now and make your journey part of the experience.

About Picture This

Picture This is one of Ireland’s most successful modern bands, known for their heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and undeniable connection with fans. Formed in Athy, County Kildare, in 2015, the group features Ryan Hennessy (vocals), Jimmy Rainsford (drums), Owen Cardiff (guitar), and Cliff Deane (bass). What began as a DIY project on social media quickly exploded into one of the most talked-about musical stories in Irish pop history.

Their breakout hit “Take My Hand” went viral online, catching the attention of major labels and fans across the country. That momentum led to the release of their debut EP, followed by a self-titled debut album in 2017, which debuted at No. 1 on the Irish Albums Chart and remained there for four weeks. Since then, Picture This have built an impressive catalogue that includes the albums MDRN LV (2019), Life in Colour (2021), and their most recent 2024 release, Stand By Me.

The band’s music fuses pop-rock, indie, and electronic influences, always anchored by deeply personal songwriting. Ryan Hennessy’s vocals are raw and emotionally charged, offering relatable narratives about love, loss, growing up, and Irish identity. Whether they’re filling arenas or playing stripped-down acoustic sets, Picture This has a unique ability to make massive crowds feel like intimate gatherings.

Live performances are central to their identity. The band made history in 2017 by becoming the first act to sell out five consecutive nights at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on their debut album — a record-breaking feat for a new Irish band. They’ve since sold out venues across Europe and the U.S., including previous headline shows at 3Arena, Electric Picnic, and the INEC Arena in Killarney.

Their 2025 “Home for Christmas” shows are especially significant. Not only do they cap off a successful year of touring and album promotion, but they also bring the band back to where it all started — a celebration of their Irish roots and a massive thank-you to their loyal home audience. With immersive stage design, visual storytelling, and a fan-powered atmosphere, these concerts promise more than just great music — they’re a heartwarming holiday experience.

Trivia You Might Not Know:

  • “Take My Hand” was recorded and released independently before the band had a record deal — it now has over 20 million streams on Spotify.
  • Ryan Hennessy wrote most of the band’s debut album while working as a painter and decorator.
  • The group’s debut show was in Dublin’s Grand Social — less than 18 months later, they were headlining the 3Arena.
  • Picture This have performed on The Late Late Show, BBC Radio 1, and multiple European festivals, building a large international fanbase.
  • Each of their four studio albums debuted at No. 1 in Ireland.
