How the Journey Works

Getting to The 2 Johnnies’ Country Christmas at Dublin’s 3Arena on 13th December 2025 is easier than ever thanks to Irish Concert Travel’s same-day return coach service. Whether you’re coming from the Midlands, the West, the South, or other regions of Ireland, our routes make sure you get to the heart of the craic without the hassle of parking, trains, or booking hotels in Dublin during the busy holiday season.

Our event-day service is designed specifically for concerts and large gatherings at the 3Arena. Coaches are scheduled to arrive at the venue well ahead of the show, so you have plenty of time to soak in the pre-show buzz, grab some food, snap selfies, or visit the merchandise stands. You’ll be dropped off at a location just short walking distance from the venue’s main entrance on North Wall Quay — no need to worry about city traffic or long walks in cold December weather.

Helpful travel tips:

  • Arrive at your chosen pickup location at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled time
  • Bring a copy or screenshot of your booking confirmation to show the driver
  • Alcohol is not permitted onboard our services
  • Hot Food and Hot Drinks are not permitted onboard our services
  • To locate the Coach after the concert ends we recommend passengers send themselves their current whatsapp location when exiting the bus and to take the drivers number

Our services operate along the most direct routes to the concerts, and we have limited the number of collection/drop off points, with the aim of reducing the travel times to and from your favourite events.

Irish Concert Travel reserves the right to adjust travel routes as necessary to optimise efficiency and scheduling.

When the final chorus is sung and the confetti settles, your return coach will be waiting near the venue. We always allow a grace period of approximately 30 minutes after the end of the event before departure to give everyone time to exit the venue, use the facilities, or grab a snack.

Our coaches are equipped with reclining seats and overhead lighting, and while not all vehicles include on-board toilets, comfort breaks may be scheduled for longer routes depending on the travel distance and timing. Each journey is curated to ensure both safety and enjoyment — perfect whether you’re travelling solo, in a group, or rounding up the cousins for one massive Christmas night out.

Trying to find your way back home after an arena gig in December can be stressful — especially when Dublin city centre is jammed with taxis, public transport is packed, and hotels are booked solid. With Irish Concert Travel, you can relax knowing your return trip is handled. Our coaches take the strain out of Christmas gig season and let you focus on what matters: having the absolute time of your life at The 2 Johnnies’ Country Christmas.

Coach seats are limited and this event is already on the radar of thousands of fans across the country. Book your bus to The 2 Johnnies at 3Arena now and make sure you don’t miss out on the biggest festive bash of 2025!

About The 2 Johnnies

The 2 Johnnies, made up of Johnny B (Johnny O’Brien) and Johnny Smacks (Johnny McMahon), are Ireland’s favourite comedic duo, podcasters, musicians, and national mischief-makers. Since their explosive rise in 2018, the pair have turned rural banter and GAA wit into a national brand that includes chart-topping comedy tracks, a hit RTÉ TV series, live sold-out arena shows, and one of Ireland’s most popular podcasts.

Both hailing from Tipperary, The 2 Johnnies began by posting skits and songs to YouTube, where they quickly gained a loyal following for their hilarious take on modern Irish life. Their unique blend of rural humour, outrageous anecdotes, and real-world relatability struck a chord with fans across all ages. From there, they launched The 2 Johnnies Podcast — a weekly series that’s become a cultural juggernaut, regularly ranking No. 1 in Irish podcast charts and racking up millions of downloads.

Alongside podcasting, they’ve developed a reputation for live performances that go far beyond standard comedy. Their shows are part concert, part party, part sketch show — with live music, crowd interaction, bizarre stunts, and guest appearances. They’ve brought this energy to some of Ireland’s biggest stages, including Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Electric Picnic, and their previous sold-out 3Arena shows.

Country Christmas 2025 at 3Arena promises to be one of their most elaborate spectacles yet. Featuring special guests like Dan McCabe, D4 Dad, Rodeo Bulls, and even live lassoing, this isn’t just a gig — it’s a full-blown holiday rodeo. It’s billed as over-the-top, unapologetically Irish, and an unmissable night out before the madness of Christmas sets in.

What sets The 2 Johnnies apart is their grassroots authenticity — they remain deeply connected to their hometown roots, often using their platform to champion Irish culture, mental health awareness, and the GAA. Their 2023 documentary, The 2 Johnnies Do America, explored Irish identity abroad, gaining critical acclaim and further cementing their place as more than just entertainers — they’re cultural commentators with heart and humour in equal measure.

Trivia You Might Not Know:

  • Their parody single “Sinéad” reached #1 on the Irish iTunes chart within 24 hours of release.
  • They once sold out the 3Arena in under 48 hours — with no major label backing.
  • The 2 Johnnies Podcast features recurring fictional characters like Noel Furlong and GAA Catfish.
  • They starred in their own RTÉ series The 2 Johnnies Do… tackling everything from dating to politics.
  • Johnny Smacks was formerly a butcher, while Johnny B is a classically trained musician.
